  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I cannot recommend Mr A. Chauhan and the team at Gental Dental Practice highly enough. Mr Chauhan has gone above and beyond over many months to restore my entire mouth, saving teeth that many high-street dentists may have chosen to remove. I’ve had root canals, front and back fillings, deep fillings under the gum and numerous hygiene treatments, all carried out with incredible care, patience and professionalism. A special thank you to Miss Ahmedyar, my hygienist, for her excellent care, and to Sonia, Mr Chauhan’s lovely assistant, who has always been so friendly, caring and reassuring. Mr Chauhan is warm, down-to-earth and immediately made me feel at ease. He has not only restored my teeth but genuinely restored my faith in people too.   I had a very good experience at the dental hospital this morning. The dentist treated my child very well and was very kind and caring. She was so friendly with my child and made us feel comfortable. She did a really good job and explained everything nicely. Unfortunately, the number of people diagnosed with mouth cancer in the UK is on the increase, but our routine screening could provide you with an early diagnosis which may potentially save your life.

Mouth cancer screening

Mouth cancer is a malignant growth which can occur in any part of the mouth, including the tongue, lips and throat. The mortality rate is just over 50%, despite treatment, with about 1,700 deaths per year in the UK. This is because of late detection. Visit your dentist at once if you notice any abnormal problems or are not sure of something. Regular dental check-ups allow early detection of abnormalities in the mouth.
